Frequently asked
How do I open a file from WeChat?
Tap the file in WeChat to preview it, tap the “⋯” (more) button, choose Open in other app / the Share action, then pick VibeMark. The document opens and renders immediately.
Can VibeMark be the default app for .md files?
iOS does not allow a per-file-type default app, so the best any reader can do is appear in the share sheet for one tap. VibeMark registers for .md, .markdown, .html, .htm, .svg, and .txt.
How do I review an AI demo for Codex?
Open the Markdown, HTML, or SVG artifact in VibeMark, tap Review, then start Review mode. Tap the rendered section you want changed, leave a comment, or make a permitted HTML/SVG source edit. Use Send to Codex to export a local review packet.
What is Review Sync?
Review Sync is optional. It lets VibeMark upload comments and source edits to a configured bridge, then gives you invite links and a Codex workspace setup link. After that setup, Codex can fetch pending review items through the VibeMark bridge when you ask it to implement the review.
Does Review Sync mean Codex is watching automatically?
No. A sync session means the shared review inbox exists. It does not wake, subscribe, or control a Codex thread by itself.
A document looks empty. Why?
By default VibeMark blocks remote content and scripts (“Safe Read”) so opened files can’t phone home. If a document depends on a script or a remote CDN, tap Run this document to load it with those enabled.
My math or tables don’t render in another app — will they here?
Yes. VibeMark renders GitHub-flavored tables, KaTeX math, Mermaid diagrams, and syntax-highlighted code, all offline.
Is my data private?
VibeMark has no accounts, tracking, analytics, or ads. Documents and review items stay local unless you export a handoff packet or create a Review Sync session with a configured bridge. See the privacy policy.
